Dr. Prasad was born on September 20, 1953. His parents were Dos Mallaiah and Gangubai, in an agricultural family and brought up at the small village Konampet, Mandal Nennela, in Adilabad District of Andhra Pradesh, India. From his earliest childhood, he professed a rebellious and independent spirit. He is a distinguished poet, writer, story writer. He is associated with several literary organizations. He published 22 books in Telugu, English and innumerable articles in national and international journals.
Dr. Prasad did M.A., M. Phil., Ph.D. (Osmania University, Hyderabad) and D. Litt, from California. He is now incharge of the Department of Sociology at Univerisity Arts and Science College, Kakatiya University, Warangal, A.P., India.
He organized and participated in many international and national conferences and seminars and presented several papers. He is associated with several voluntary organizations and has done much to help the nation building activities and communal harmony.
He parted ways with social and religious institutions and discarded all old thoughts and started working for humanizing the present society and the world which is steeped in the old and worn-out concepts of religiosity and hypocritical beliefs. He wants to bring in sweeping changes wherever and whenever they are needed.
His life is seen as an immense contribution to the planning and execution of innovations. In this era of Globalization he took as a challenge to develop a new science for the new society and devoted his life time to innovate new sciences for the new humanity

He coined the words Changeology, Humariology, and Lifeology to describe his vision. His objective is to established new sciences and new disciplines for the new generation. His earnest hope and desire is to usher in a new universal society in the light of the theories and philosophy contained in the innovative disciplines called Changeology, Humanology and Lifeology.
Dr. Prasad is one of most perspective innovative and creative writers in India in the field of education and among the social sciences scholars in the Indian Universities. Very few have devoted as much time to this field as he did, with his books 1) Changeology, a New Discipline for the New Generation (1996 & 2004), 2) Humanology, a New Discipline for the New Humanity (2004), and 3) Lifeology, a New Discipline for the New Society (2007). He set an example to social sciences teachers in India for the kind of attention that needs to be given to the world of social sciences. He recognized the need for new disciplines that would enable appreciation of Indian sciences and set our to do his own share of this great task by developing new sciences, as protest against the irrelevance of the traditional social sciences to the modern context. It is in the fitness of things that he provides the critical feedback on the key issues of developing new sciences wherever events relating to this field take place in the country.
